All Saints’ Ministry of Music

Music is an important part of our lives and the life of the church. Here at All Saints’ we are blessed to have a variety of musicians and a range of music in our weekly worship. Through music new and old we express our faith, offer our praise, sing our prayer, open our hearts and encourage one another “in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all our heart.”(Eph. 5:19)

      Music is led by our director Blair Mills with Carol Mills as keyboardist. Joining them in this ministry are the Choir and the Worship Band. We are grateful for their offering of music!

      The Choir meets weekly on Thursdays at 7 pm to rehearse the anthems and prepare to lead us in the congregational hymns. If you are someone who loves to sing, consider joining the Choir—speak with Blair or email him at blaircarol@live.ca.It’s a great way to serve the All Saints’ community, learn with others and develop friendships. If you love music but your schedule makes a weekly commitment impossible, speak with Blair because there are occasions when extra voices are needed!

      The Worship Band generally meets on Saturdays at 11am to prepare contemporary music for worship. If you would like to be part of a worship band, speak with Blair. He is in particular need of guitarists and is also looking to develop a second music team. Band members build relationships with one another while offering us the best of contemporary Christian music.

            Whether or not you join the Choir or Band, your voice raised in song is vital to our worship of God. And let us give thanks to those among us who bring their gift of music to worship!
